Pricespotter is Curbed’s pricing guessing game. How much do you think this place is asking? Drop your guess in the comments, and remember, no cheating!
What/Where: 2BR, 1BA in Carroll Gardens
Square Footage: 850
Maintenance/Common Charges: $840
This two-bedroom co-op is located on the top floor of a three-story walk-up building that’s about a five-minute walk from the Carroll Street subway station. The apartment is one of four units in a converted brownstone, and has access to the roof.
The building underwent a renovation in 2015, but the apartment has still retained some of its old world charm including the tall tin ceilings, the exposed wood beams, and the wood-burning fireplace.
New additions include the swanky kitchen, which now has a Caesarstone island and countertops, a Miele dishwasher, a vented Bertazzoni gas range, and other stainless steel appliances. The co-op’s only bathroom has a jacuzzi tub, and Kohler fixtures.

The apartment’s two bedrooms face west and have views of the water and the statue of liberty, according to the broker on the property. Other nice features include the custom cabinetry made from reclaimed wood, the two skylights in the living room, and the fact that the apartment has its own washer/dryer.
A final clue for all our commenters: the apartment is very close to the neighborhood’s Dimattina Playground. So, how much do you think this place is asking?
