Big reveal: $575K for a prewar Bed-Stuy condo with modern updates

This week’s Pricespotter apartment, a prewar co-op in Bed-Stuy, is asking $575,000. No one guessed the correct price this time around, however, Eulipian came the closest with a guess of $565,000.

It’s safe to say that this place wasn’t exactly a hit among commenters. “Ick. Ihate this place,” wrote modmother. “Weird space where the washer/dryer, 1/2 bath and closets are...and I hate the way the kitchen looks.”

On the other hand, there were a few folks that didn’t find the one-bedroom, 1.5 bathroom railroad-style apartment completely terrible. “I’m surprised how much hate this is getting. I agree this is a place that would probably be better to rent than to buy, but it’s still a pretty nice apartment,” said TheMarketSoftener.
