The penthouse is blocks from ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid’s digs

Following a split after two years of public romance with model Gigi Hadid, former One Direction member Zayn Malik is moving into a new bachelor pad. The PILLOWTALK crooner has plunked down $10.7 million on a Greene Street penthouse, the New York Post reports. Malik is already familiar with Soho: old love Hadid is the not-so-secret owner of a $3.97 million condo at 10 Bond Street, just a few blocks away from Malik’s new digs at 63 Greene.

The Greene Street pad is a 3,597-square-foot penthouse with four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a 1,000-square-foot terrace. The sale closed on March 13; Malik used the LLC Drop Zed properties to purchase the apartment.

The penthouse was listed for $12.95 million in February 2016, and was most recently on the market seeking $10.5 million. The 19th-century former silk factory building was recently overhauled by AION Partners into luxurious condos featuring custom cabinetry, white oak flooring, marble finishes, and high-end kitchen appliances.

Malik’s penthouse includes barrel-vaulted brick ceilings accented with wooden and steel beams and exposed ducting, for that extra industrial touch.
