Here’s how subway service changes will affect your commute this weekend

It’s not quite as hellacious a weekend on the subway as the previous two, but service changes will still be affecting a lot of lines this weekend. The Nor’easter presently battering the city may cause more headaches, but the MTA hasn’t yet announced anything to that effect. The weather will clear out by tomorrow anyway, so be sure to check out MTA Weekender before you head out. For now, here’s a look at the lines that will be affected this weekend.

  • Downtown 2 and 3 trains run local from 96th Street to Times Square-42nd Street.
  • Downtown 4 trains run local from 125 St to Grand Central-42 St; New Lots Av-bound trains skip 33, 28, 23 Sts, Astor Pl, Bleecker, Spring and Canal Sts; trains run local in both directions between 125 St and Grand Central-42 St; Service operates every 16 minutes between 125 St and Woodlawn; Uptown 4 trains run local from Brooklyn Bridge to 125 St; and Woodlawn-bound trains skip 161 St, 167 St, 170 St, Mt Eden Av and 176 St.
  • Uptown 5 trains skip Bronx Park East, Pelham Pkwy, Allerton Av and Burke Av; and 5 trains also run local in both directions between 125 St and Grand Central-42 St.
  • Brooklyn Bridge-bound 6 trains skip 33, 28, 23 Sts, Astor Pl, Bleecker, Spring and Canal Sts.
  • Queensboro Plaza-bound 7 trains skip 111, 103, 90 and 82 Sts; Express 7 trains make local stops in both directions at 33, 40, 46, 52, 69 and 74 Sts; and there are no 7 trains between Queensboro Plaza and Times Sq-42 St.
  • There are no A trains between 168 St and 207 St; and Ozone Park/Far Rockaway-bound A trains skip 116, 110, 103, 96, 86, 81 and 72 Sts.
  • Euclid Av-bound C trains skip 116, 110, 103, 96, 86, 81 and 72 Sts.
  • L trains run every 20 minutes on Sunday from 6:15 a.m. to 10 a.m.
  • Coney Island-bound D trains skip 155 St, and run local from DeKalb Av to 36 St; Norwood-bound D trains skip 25 St, Prospect Av, 4 Av-9 St and Union St, and run via the C line from from W 4 St to 145 St.
  • Coney Island-bound F trains skip 23 St and 14 St; and Jamaica-bound F trains skip Smith-9 Sts, Carroll St and Bergen St.
  • Astoria-bound N trains run express from 59 St, Brooklyn to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr; and Coney Island-bound N trains run local from DeKalb Av to 59 St, Brooklyn.
  • Manhattan-bound R trains run express from 59 St, Brooklyn to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr.
  • There are no J trains between Broadway Junction and Jamaica Center.
  • There are no G trains between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Church Av Service, and operates in two sections—Between Court Sq and Bedford-Nostrand Avs, and between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Hoyt-Schermerhorn, every 20 minutes.
