The 7,000-square-foot townhouse, once dubbed the “Midtown Castle,” has resurfaced on the market with yet another price chop. The enormous abode, once asking $15 million, is now trying its luck for $11.95 million.
Located along West 51st Street, the home first hit the market in 2016, asking just under $15 million after receiving a gut renovation. About a year later, the owners switched brokerage firms and dropped the price down to $14 million. Then came another price chop in June 2017 that brought the price down to $13.5 million, though there still weren’t any takers.
To recap, the home spans six floors and offers five bedrooms, more than six bathrooms, a full basement with an arcade, and a rooftop terrace. In fact, there is 1,750 square feet of outdoor space on hand that includes a balcony right outside of the master bedroom, a terrace accessed through the great room, and a private garden.

Other perks include ceilings that sprawl 20 feet high, a wood-burning fireplace, a spacious open chef’s kitchen, and a stylish staircase that connects each of the floors.
