Here’s your chance to score a Bed-Stuy townhouse for under a million bucks

Bond New York.

Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

It’s not often when a renovated Bed-Stuy townhouse hits the market asking anything less than a million dollars these days, so our guess is that this three-bedroom abode on Bainbridge Street, asking $950,000, won’t be around for long.

After a full revamp, the home balances a mix of classic finishes and modern touches. The living room is the first room you encounter upon entering and has been flourished with white-painted exposed brick walls, high ceilings, wide-plank wood floors, oversized windows, and a decorative fireplace. There is a lovely eat-in chef’s kitchen that features high beamed ceilings, subway tile backsplashes, high-end stainless steel appliances, white cabinetry, open shelving, and a rustic door that leads to the private backyard.

There is a small pantry that’s equipped with a butcher-block countertop, as well as a washer/dryer machine and another small room on the garden level could function as storage space or whatever else deemed suitable.

Unfortunately, the listing doesn’t provide a floorplan so it’s hard to know how things are laid out, but per its description, there is an upper level with two bedrooms and a master bathroom with a claw foot tub and marble mosaic floors. Additionally, there is another full bathroom and one half bath located elsewhere throughout the home.

The home is currently configured as a single-family residence but it can be configured into a two-bedroom. It also allows for an additional 1,200 square feet of buildable square footage.
