A sales launch is on the horizon for Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Quay Tower, and a new set of renderings aim to get potential buyers and real estate gawkers excited.
RAL Companies and Oliver’s Realty Group have released the first interior renderings of the residential building, along with word that the interiors will be designed by AD 100 team Marmol Radziner. The building will be the firm’s first East Coast residential project.
The California-based team will bring their West Coast aesthetic to Quay Tower, the 126-condo building in the works at the park’s Pier 6 uplands. That means prospective buyers can expect sumptuous spaces like kitchens with white oak cabinetry, leathered finish quartzite countertops, and satin bronze accents; and master bathrooms with Alabastrino Rustico travertine marble. Marmol Radziner has designed homes for Tom Ford, Larry Gagosian, and Demi Moore.
The firm will also design the building’s amenity spaces, which public records say will include a dog washing room, gym, kids room, and a rooftop tenant’s lounge with a terrace.

The building’s two- to five-bedroom condos will start at $1.9 million, and will hit the market later this season. Work on the development, which tops out this week, is full steam ahead after the Brooklyn Heights Association announced in late March that it would halt its litigation seeking to stop the site’s development.
The civic group maintained that the site’s owner, the Brooklyn Bridge Park Corporation, was in violation of its commitment to build as little housing as was needed in the park to fund its upkeep when it introduced the Pier 6 development. BBPC said it needed the funds the additional housing would provide in order to maintain compromised timber piles under the East River pier.
Quay Tower, at 50 Bridge Park, is being built alongside a mixed-income rental building that’s expected to open in the spring of 2019. That building, at 15 Bridge Park Drive, will hold 100 affordable and 40 market rate apartments.
