A two-bedroom abode within the Upper East Side’s Pierre Hotel has hit the market with a $23 million price tag. The brokerbabble doesn’t offer a ton of information on the apartment, but notes that it has received a “meticulous renovation” and is a “dream residence.”
There are only a few pictures that come along with the listing, giving us just a sneak peak at what it entails. While there are nice flourishes that include a corner living room, a library with built-in bookshelves, and ensuite bedrooms, the apartment is rather plain, though the real star here are the abundance of oversized windows that provide unobstructed views of the Central Park and the city’s skyline.
The listing comes with a proposed floorplan, in case the next buyer is looking to reconfigure the space, but there are 2.5 marble-drenched bathrooms, space for a study, and a plethora of closet space already in place.
The Pierre Hotel is no stranger to exorbitantly priced apartments. A duplex on the 30/31 floors, asking $70 million, currently graces our list of the city’s most expensive homes for sale, and there was that time when a 39th floor co-op encompassing 4,786 square feet, reigned amongst the list of the most expensive rentals with it’s whopping $500,000/month price tag.
