As New Jersey’s soon-to-be-tallest tower continues its ascent along the Jersey City waterfront, developer China Overseas America has released a new time-lapse video that shows the building rising to its 45th floor in under a minute.
Eventually this condo building will have 79 floors and stand 889 feet tall. Since the publication of the video earlier this month, the building has now reached the 49th floor, a representative for the developer told Curbed.
99 Hudson launched sales on its 781 apartments in October last year with apartments asking from $770,000. The apartments here come in studios through three-bedrooms, and the Marketing Directors are handling sales for the condo.
Amenities announced for the condo include an outdoor pool, a yoga and pilates studio, a dog run, indoor and outdoor lounges, and a children’s playroom. Earlier this year, the developer unveiled the first interior renderings for the condo, which showed off many of these amenities and some of the typical apartments here (including their floor-to-ceiling windows).
Construction on the Perkins Eastman-designed building is expected to wrap sometime next year. Check out the time-lapse video below:
