Just a little over six months after Sting sold his Upper West Side duplex for a whopping $50 million, reports have now emerged that the musician and his wife Trudie Styler are now renting in the Zaha Hadid-designed 520 West 28th Street.
The New York Post reports that the couple is renting a large terraced apartment on one of the upper floors of the High Line-flanking building. There’s no word yet on how much they’re paying for this pad, but two rentals listings on StreetEasy are priced at $15,750/month for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo, and $26,000/month for a three-bedroom, three-bathroom home.
Closings at the futuristic building got underway last July, and the first rentals at the 11-story building appeared the following month. Residents at the building can enjoy a host of swanky amenities like the city’s first private IMAX theater, a 75-foot saline, skylit swimming pool, a private spa, and robotic parking.
Aside from renting in the Zaha Hadid-designed condo, Sting has reportedly also expressed an interest in purchasing an apartment at the Robert A.M. Stern-designed 220 Central Park South.
