Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

Part of the school-turned-condo building on West 148th Street, this spacious apartment is now on the market for $985,000. The one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit measures 1,132 square feet, and counts its 12-foot-tall ceiling, massive cathedral -style windows, and the private terrace among its standout features.

Even though the apartment is located on the first floor, it doesn’t feel dark due to the H shape of the building, and the large windows throughout the apartment. The unit opens up into a long gallery that leads to the living and dining areas, and the kitchen. The latter is fitted with stainless steel appliances, has a nice center island, and features tons of storage space.

The listing’s photos show a twin bed in the bedroom, but it seems like there’s enough space for at least a full size bed. The bedroom looks out on to the terrace, but it seems that it can only be accessed through the living room.

Aside from that, the apartment has wide-plank wood floors, a Bosch washer/dryer in-unit, and central A/C. Residents in the building also have access to a fitness center, a planted garden, a media room, and bike storage.
