A 19-story Brooklyn rental, located on the triangular lot where Flatbush Avenue meets Fulton Street, has now launched the lottery on its 37 affordable units. The affordable rentals at the Slate Property Group-developed project come in studios through two-bedroom variants with prices starting at $867/month.

A majority of the affordable rentals here are studios (21), and there are an equal number of one-bedrooms and two-bedrooms. The former are renting at $931/month and the latter are asking $1,123 per month. The apartments are open to those making 60 percent of the area median income, which translates to incomes ranging from $31,612 to $62,580, depending on the family size and unit type.

Amenities in the Hill West Architects-designed building include a gym, a residents lounge, a rooftop deck with barbecue grills, and the apartments here have washers and dryers in-unit. Leasing on the market-rate apartments here is expected to launch this summer with units asking from $2,400 per month (for a studio).

In all, this 19-story building has 183 apartments, and once complete the building will have retail at the base. Construction is expected to wrap in the next few months.
