Facade work on WeWork’s new Brooklyn Navy Yard home is scheduled to wrap later this month, and co-developers Rudin Management and Boston Properties have now shared a bunch of progress photos that offer new looks at the office building.
The 16-story building is located at Dock 72 at the Navy Yard, and will have a third of its space (222,000 square feet) taken up by WeWork, which is also co-developing the overall building. WeWork is also curating the vast number of amenities here including a health and wellness center, a conference center, multiple food and drink options, and outdoor amenities like a public lawn, a sun deck, and a basketball court.
Tenants in the building will also have access to 16,000 square feet of terraces spread out over six different floors. The new construction site photos also give us a better sense of the massive floorplates of the building that range from 42,000 square feet to 60,000 square feet; ceiling heights here rise to 14 feet.
The S9 Architecture-designed building is scheduled to open this fall. The interiors here are being designed by Fogarty Finger Architecture.
