Kirsten Dunst has sold her funky Soho Penthouse just over a year after first listing it on the market. Property records indicate that the rustic-chic home sold for $4.425 million, which was just marginally under its ask of $4.5 million.
Dunst had owned the two-bedroom, one and a half bathroom home for over a decade, but it’s possible that she hadn’t been living there for a while seeing as the pad was offered up as a $12,500/month rental in September 2014.
The top-floor unit has exposed brick walls; arched windows that offer up lovely East River views; marble countertops and Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances in the kitchen; a vintage claw foot soaking tub, a separate shower, a heated towel rack, and mosaic floors in the full bathroom; 11-foot-tall ceilings throughout, a washer/dryer in-unit, and wide plank wood flooring.
Dunst purchased the apartment in 2007 for $3 million, and originally listed it on the market for $5 million, before bringing the ask down to $4.5 million in March last year—that finally seemed to do the track. Corcoran’s Laura Weinkam represented the buyers on the sale.
