TF Cornerstone’s colossal Hell’s Kitchen rental—it has a total of 1,028 apartments—has now launched leasing with monthly rent’s starting from $2,750/month. Located at 606 West 57th Street, diagonally across from Bjarke Ingels’s Via 57 West, the project has been in the works since at least 2013.
Now, five years later, the 42-story rental is ready to welcome its first set of residents. The breakdown of the units is as follows: 218 Studios, 436 one-bedrooms, 343 two-bedrooms, and 31 three-bedrooms units. The news of the opening is also accompanied by some of the first interior images of the rental (mostly the amenity spaces), which you can peek at below.
While leasing on the market-rate units officially launched today, the city launched an affordable housing lottery for 258 apartments here in February this year. Those units were asking from $613/month, and prospective tenants had until April 10 to apply.
Aside from the apartments, the building also has a host of amenities. The fitness center here has a full basketball court, Peloton bikes, a yoga & barre studio, and a stretching room. Other amenities include indoor and outdoor residents lounges, a pet grooming center, a screening room, and a kids play area.
The building will also have a 10,000-square-foot Pre-K facility, and 26,253 square feet of ground-floor retail.
