What/Where: 1BR, 1BA condo in Williamsburg

Square Footage: 886 square feet

Maintenance/Common Charges: $682

This one-bedroom condo is one of just 14 that is located within a seven-story prewar building that was gut renovated in 2005. The apartment offers a loft-like layout that features a spacious living room that is filled with sunlight, an open chef’s kitchen with a granite breakfast bar, and a spacious bedroom.

There are a few nice conveniences that include a washer/dryer machine, central air conditioning/heating, and a sizable balcony outside of the living room. The drawback is that the nearest subway station—the Marcy Avenue stop where you can catch the J, M, or Z train—is a bit of a schlep (just over a 10-minute walk).

With that said, how much do you think this place is going for?
