A massive full-floor penthouse at Chelsea’s Walker Tower has finally managed to find a buyer after years of being on and off the market. Most recently, the penthouse was on the market early last year for $42 million; it had returned to the market after a major makeover and was trying to find a buyer yet again.
The upgrades seem to have paid off as the 7,000 square foot apartment has now found a buyer who put down $31 million for the place, according to The Real Deal, which first reported on the sale. While that’s significantly less than the asking price, it’s not too far away from the $31.2 million the seller paid for it in 2014. The seller has only been identified as 210 West 18th Street 2012, LLC, and new buyer’s identity remains anonymous as well.
The new owner can look forward to four bedrooms, a massive living room, two terraces, a large office/study area, a media room, and an eat-kitchen, among other features in this apartment.
