Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

A compact studio within a historic Emery Roth-designed building near the corner of Park Avenue and 34th Street has made its way to the market with a $395,000 asking price.

The listing description doesn’t reveal the square footage, but from the floorplan it’s easy to tell that this place is small. While its size isn’t brag-worthy, the co-op features a few flourishes that allow for an illusion of more space.

The chic design includes arched doorways, high beamed ceilings, light wood floors, and large windows that invite in a fair amount of natural light. There is a modest-sized windowed kitchen that is bedecked with stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher) and sleek dark wood cabinets.

The bathroom has been given a modern update that involved sprucing up its original porcelain tub and there are two large closets throughout the home for storage. Monthly maintenance is going for $835.
