It’s been a little over six months since we last checked in at the construction site of the Bjarke Ingels Group’s twisting High Line condos, the XI. Now, new construction site photos by Field Condition reveal that the project has made swift progress over the last few months, and that one of the two towers that make up this development is now close to topping out.
The taller of the two towers will stand 36 stories tall and contain 149 apartments—that structure can now be seen nearing its pinnacle in the construction site photos. The shorter of the towers will stand 26-stories tall and have a Six Senses resort on the lower floors, and 87 apartments above that. There’s also a third distinct structure that’s part of the overall development, and it will have a Six Senses spa.
Construction site photos reveal that the shorter of the two residential towers is just about getting off the ground. Sales on the HFZ Capital Group-developed project were supposed to launch over the summer, but they’re yet to get underway. Apartments here are expected to range in price from $2.8 million to $25 million. Construction on the XI is scheduled to wrap at the end of 2019.
