A little over six months after it was first announced, a rendering has emerged for ODA New York’s condo on West 14th Street. YIMBY was the first to publish the rendering for the project, which will replace a single-story former bank building at the corner of 14th Street and Sixth Avenue.
The glass-clad, asymmetrical exterior that can be seen in the rendering is very much a signature ODA New York move and can be seen in many of their projects like the Long Island City condo on Jackson Avenue, and their church-replacing Boerum Hill project.
At 101 West 14th Street, ODA has designed a 13-story condo that will bring 45 new apartments to the neighborhood. YIMBY has learned that 21 of these units will be duplexes, and the apartments here will measure 1,200 square feet, on average.
In addition to the apartments, there will also be a decent amount of amenities including a residents lounge, a laundry room, a fitness center, a rooftop terrace, and bicycle storage. Developer Gemini Rosemont is also planning two retail spaces on the ground floor.
YIMBY has learned that construction on the project is expected to get underway in September.
