A relatively new townhouse bordering Boerum Hill and Carroll Gardens has made its way to the market with a hefty $4.2 million price tag, and while the asking price is a hefty one, we must admit that the 3,800-square-foot abode is appealing, giving off classic brownstone vibes paired with contemporary decor.

According to the listing description, the townhouse was constructed in 2014, however, one look at its exterior and you could mistake it for a historic brownstone with some modern updates. Spanning across five floors, the home offers four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, two half baths, and an abundance of outdoor space.

The garden level is configured as an open-concept recreation area with double-height ceilings and access to the backyard patio. As you head to the first floor, you’ll find the expansive open kitchen—complete with a huge Calcutta marble island, high-end stainless steel appliances that include double wall ovens, white cabinetry, plenty of space to eat in, and access to the balcony—the living room area, a fireplace, and a loft-like space that overlooks the garden level.

The master bedroom, located on the third floors is pretty impressive and includes a skylit en-suite bathroom with a free standing soaking tub and radiant heated floors; a walk-in closet, and two smaller closets for storage space.

The top level gives way to a massive roof deck that provides some pretty nice views of the neighborhood. For additional outdoor space, there is the landscaped garden on the lower level, complete with custom fencing and fancy bluestone pavers.
