Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband Justin Mikita have left their one-bedroom home in Gramercy Park for a fancy two-bedroom in Chelsea, the New York Post has learned. Ferguson and Mikita put down just over $3 million for the two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit that’s part of a new building on West 14th Street known as d’Orsay.
Sales at this Chelsea condo launched more than two years ago, and almost all of the apartments there have either sold or are in contract. The boutique condo building features interiors by French architect Jacques Garcia, who also designed the Nomad Hotel. The exteriors were designed by Hill West Architects.
Ferguson and Mikita paid just a fraction over the asking price of their new two-bedroom home. The apartment has a spacious living room, and both bedrooms here come with ensuite bathrooms—the master suite has a walk-in closet as well.
The Modern Family star put up his Gramercy Park apartment on the market in April this year for $1.5 million—that 900 square foot unit has yet to find a buyer, but the couple now has themselves a swanky new pad.
