This week’s Pricespotter apartment—a quirky East Village loft with custom built-ins—is asking $995,000. Congratulations are in order for omarrr, who guessed the accurate amount this week.
The co-op is located within a five-story building on East 4th Street, near Avenue C and is a little more than 10 minutes away from the Second Avenue stop on the F line.
Opinions for the apartment were pretty positive overall, though of course, folks highlighted that there is always room for improvement. “So, this place has two lofts. Interesting. I kinda like it. I wish we could see a closer view of the kitchen and any view of the bathroom,” said Trilby16. “Quirky but definitely spacious. It may “officially” be a 1BR but you could use it as a 2BR, and the high ceilings, tall windows, brick walls, and open spaces give it an urban loft feel, echoed NYCsince1983.
Honest86 pointed out that the upper level loft space has low ceilings and might not actually be able to legally qualify as a second bedroom, but it can make for a decent storage space.
Knowing the price, what are you thoughts? Is it worth $995,000, given its location and what it offers? Here’s another look:
