Sales are now underway at David Adjaye’s first New York City skyscraper located at 130 William Street, in the Financial District. Currently available apartments start from $780,990 for a studio measuring 435 square feet, and go up to $6.96 million, for one of the building’s loggia residences—this one has three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, and 863 square feet of outdoor space.
This highly-anticipated condo development has already generated a lot of sales buzz. The development team behind the project informed Curbed that 130 William has signed 30 contracts in under a month, and has received 3,000 sales inquiries so far. And this is all before the official sales launch today.
The 800-foot-tower, which started construction earlier this year, will bring a total of 244 apartments to the neighborhood. Apartments here will range in size from studios through four-bedrooms, and Adjaye is custom-designing all the fixtures and hardware throughout the apartment. The top 10 floors of the 66-story building will have what are called the Penthouse and Loggia Residences. These homes will have ceilings heights ranging from 11 to 14 feet and terraces that start at 600 feet above ground.
The building will also have a large suite of amenities including a private IMAX theater, a rooftop observatory deck, a health club with a spa, hot and cold plunge pools, and a swimming pool, among several other features. Construction on 130 William, which is being developed by the Lightstone, is expected to wrap in 2020.
