Big reveal: $550K for Bushwick 1BR with private roof cabana

Though several commenters came close to guessing the correct price of this Bushwick condo, which has one bedroom and its own private roof “cabana,” Views4Days was the first to hit the nail on the head. The 665-square-foot apartment, located on Decatur Street between Broadway and Bushwick Avenue, is asking $550,000.

The general consensus on this apartment is that it’s pretty nice, though the word “cabana”—used to describe what is essentially a 200-square-foot roof deck—was a bit of a stretch. (“A cabana is usually at a beach and you change into your swimsuit in it. You store your beach chairs in it. Duh,” said Trilby16.)

And even though, as others pointed out, the layout is essentially two boxes placed next to each other, the space has plenty of decent perks—low monthlies, private storage, brand new everything, and a balcony in addition to the roof deck. We’ll let you be the judge of whether or not that’s worth $550,000.
