Weeds actress and author Mary-Louise Parker recently purchased a $4.3 million Brooklyn Heights co-op, according to sources with knowledge of the transaction.
The apartment, located on one of the neighborhood’s most charming side streets, is a five-bedroom, four-bathroom pad situated on the top floor of a building; thanks to its location, it has stellar views of the Brooklyn Heights Promenade and the Manhattan skyline. Other features include a wood-burning fireplace, a formal dining room and eat-in kitchen, and an expansive master bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
Parker has been a Brooklyn Heights resident for some time now; after selling her Greenwich Village duplex in 2013—a sale that took several years and at least one broker switch—she moved to a five-bedroom duplex in the historic neighborhood. (Seth Meyers ended up buying her old Village co-op in 2016, though from a different seller.)
Earlier this summer, Parker sold that Brooklyn apartment for $6.2 million, and purchased her new pad (both using the trust Shiny Happy People LLC) for $4.3 million, according to public records.
The listing for Parker’s new pad was held by Stribling’s Mary Ellen Cashman; Stribling declined to comment.
