Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

In Prospect Heights, this cheery co-op is on the market for $650,000. The one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment measures about 700 square feet and comes with hardwood floors, and gets a good amount of light throughout the apartment.

Based on the floorplan, one might mistakenly think that the apartment is rather narrow, but the listing’s photos reveal that the apartment is actually pretty spacious. The unit opens up into a corridor, with the entrance to the master bedroom located a few steps in.

The broker on the property says the room can fit a king size bed, and has a sizable closet. The apartment’s only bathroom is located right next to bedroom, and comes with a shower-tub combo and a spacious sink. As you make your way further down the apartment, there’s the unit’s washer and dryer, which is always a plus.

The open-plan kitchen beyond that comes with tons of cabinetry, nice stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, and a large breakfast bar, which also easily doubles up as an additional workstation for the kitchen.

The living room, which is right across from the kitchen, is really brought to life by the built-in shelves that are currently being used as bookshelves (for the most part). Aside from that, the apartment has high ceilings, crown moldings, and additional storage in the basement. The only major drawback to this apartment is that it’s a fourth floor walk, but if you can get past that, it’s a great find.
