Big reveal: $895K for a spacious East Village condo with a balcony

This week’s Pricespotter apartment—a spacious one-bedroom condo in the East Village—is asking $895,000. There were a bunch of commenters that came thisclose to guessing that amount, but ultimately no one came up with that exact number. However, coleco and Eulipian were both just $1,000 off with guesses of $894,000 and $896,000, respectively.

The apartment is within a building on East 9th Street, between Second and Third avenues, and is situated on the second floor. Opinions on its layout were overwhelmingly positive and with only a few minor complaints. “The only thing I really dislike is the bathroom opening right into the dining area – yuck. Other than that this place is very nice and has great features,” wrote REobsessed. “Not bad at all ….I’d paint those honey oak cabinets white and move in,” said Doug bananaboy.

The 6 line’s Astor Place is about a block away and the 8th Street Station for the N/R/W isn’t too far off either.
