Icelandic singer Björk has listed her massive Brooklyn Heights penthouse on the market for $9 million. Variety first reported on the listing, which spans 3,000 square feet, and is located on the top floor of a charming red-brick co-op in the neighborhood.
The full-floor apartment comes with four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a massive wraparound terrace that offers up views of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty, according to the broker on the listing.
Björk purchased the penthouse with her then-partner Matthew Barney, in 2009, for $4 million. Following their split, Björk purchased Barney’s share of the property, in 2016, for $1.6 million.
One of the nicest features of the penthouse is that the bedrooms are all located in the northern portion of the apartment, whereas the living room, kitchen, and other more public areas are located in the southern portion of the apartment. The living room here comes with a wood-burning fireplace, and the open kitchen comes with stainless steel appliances and tons of storage.
