Actor Matt Damon is the new owner of Brooklyn’s most expensive condo, a six-bedroom penthouse atop the former Standish Arms Hotel in Brooklyn Heights, that was going for $16.645 million.

City property records indicate that Damon and his wife, Lucianna Barroso, purchased the pad for $16.75 million, through an LLC signed by his business manager, Gary Kriss, reports the New York Post. The sale has beat the record set by the Cobble Hill townhouse at 177 Pacific Street, though it may not remain the borough’s most expensive for too much longer. It’s rumored that the penthouse at Quay Tower is expected to close for nearly $20 million.

As for Damon’s apartment, the unit was created by combining three smaller units in 2016 and initially wanted $16.445 million. The apartment is one of the building’s 33 units and features Austrian white oak flooring, Italian Carrara marble slab countertops in the kitchen, and elaborate master bathrooms with mosaic tiles.
