This week, we asked you to guess the price of a cute, albeit small two-bedroom co-op in the East Village—and this week, there were two correct guesses. IsItABedroom? and coleco both hit the nail on the head; the apartment is asking $825,000.
The apartment is located on the fourth floor in a walk-up building at 321 East 12th Street, located between First and Second avenues. It comes with a renovated kitchen (that also has a washer/dryer), six street-facing window, and a somewhat quirky layout. (Commenters pointed out that calling the place a two-bedroom is not quite right—it appears to be more of a junior one-bed.)
Still, it’s in a good location—nearby to hotspots like Momofuku Noodle and Ssam bars and other neighborhood attractions like Veselka and Village East Cinema, as well as the First Avenue L-train stop—and as many commenters noted, it’s a nice place, even if it is a bit small. Of course, whether it actually sells for the full $825,000 remains to be seen.
