What/Where: 1BR, 1BA condo in the East Village

Square Footage: 1,200

Maintenance/Common Charges/Taxes: $1,806

This Greenwich Village apartment has just one bedroom, and it’s somewhat awkwardly placed, in a loft above the rest of the apartment. But it’s a rather large unit—the listing estimates it’s 1,200 square feet—and has a kitchen with new appliances (including a dishwasher), a washer/dryer, lots of storage space, and a decorative fireplace.

The location for this place is a big pro: It’s on a particularly lovely block in Greenwich Village, though some would argue its location puts it in the West Village; it’s also right in between two different subway stops, and close to a newly launched Select Bus Service line. (If that’s not a helpful hint as to the location, we don’t know what is.)

Knowing all that, how much do you think this place is asking?
