The summer may be well behind us but that doesn’t mean we can’t fantasize about swimming in a rooftop pool. This home that just hit the market is the perfect excuse to do just that—it’s a duplex penthouse, in Flatiron, with a private rooftop terrace and pool with stunning views of the Manhattan skyline.

The 5,646-square-foot unit, as Forbes first reported, is asking $30 million. It has three bedrooms, four full bathrooms and a partial washroom, a large private rooftop with a terrace and pool, and multiple fireplaces. The home’s current owner bought the property for $6.4 million back in 2009, according to city property records.

A team led by Soren Rose designed the home over the course of six years, the listing says. It is outfitted with plenty of luxe details, including marble walls, 24-foot ceilings in its living room, picture windows, a glass curved staircase, a library, and custom millwork. Perhaps the apartment’s most notable feature is a 24-foot Verdi Alpi marble wall imported from the Swiss Alps.

As for the rooftop, it is enclosed by glass and has three seating areas, a gas fireplace, indoor and outdoor kitchens, a grill, and an outdoor shower. The stunning pool is covered in infinity glass and has blue mosaic Bisazza tiles. The property also comes with an in-unit washer/dryer, a rooftop storage area, and an integrated Savant and Lutron home automation system.

The apartment is located at 240 Park Avenue South, between East 19th and East 20th streets, a block away from Gramercy Park, near the 4 and 6 trains at 23rd Street.

Taxes are $4,324/month and common charges amount to $5,732/month. Nikki Field and Benjamin Pofcher of Sotheby’s International Realty have the listing.
