Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

Studio apartments may be smaller—and cheaper—but that doesn’t mean they can’t be elegant. This fancy Hell’s Kitchen co-op studio, that just listed for $724,950, is proof of that.

The co-op studio has one bathroom, a Murphy bed, hardwood floors, and a 340-square-foot private rooftop terrace—which is perhaps its biggest selling point. It also has plenty of old-world details including a wood-burning fireplace, a spiral staircase that leads to the terrace, and chandeliers. The kitchen was renovated and has marble countertops and Italian lacquer cabinetry.

The building has a laundry room on every floor, a common outdoor space, and allows pets. It’s located at 529 West 42nd Street, between Tenth and Eleventh avenues, a walkable distance to Hudson River Park. The nearest trains are the A, C, and E at 42nd Street-Port Authority.

Maintenance charges are $1,859/month. Lance Levine and Michelle Zitwer of Douglas Elliman have the listing.
