Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

It’s not too often that houses end up qualifying for the Six-Digit Club—New York has plenty of beautiful houses, but budget-minded they are not—which is why we’re excited about this three-bedroom Bed-Stuy townhouse, which just squeaks in at $965,000.

The three-story home has been gut renovated and there are plenty of nice details throughout, including a black fireplace mantel in the living room, exposed brick, and wide-plank flooring. (The facade has been painted black, which puts it in stark contrast to other homes on the townhouse-lined block.)

The renovated kitchen, which has plenty of cabinet space and new appliances, is located on the garden level, along with a separate dining room. The first floor is home to the living room and one of the house’s three bedrooms. On the top floor, there are two additional bedrooms—one a master with a big closet—as well as the home’s single bathroom. There’s plenty of closet space throughout, and the house comes with a washer/dryer hookup.

The home is located on Bainbridge Street, between Malcolm X Boulevard and Patchen Avenue; it’s close to the Utica Avenue subway stop. David Fernandez of Compass has the listing.
