A West Village townhouse that was once part of photographer Annie Leibovitz’s neighborhood compound is now on the market as a rental, asking a whopping $12,600/month. The home is located on the corner of West 11th and Greenwich streets, and it is one of the prettiest in the neighborhood, with an ivy-covered facade that’s—dare we say it?—picture-perfect.

The home is one of three that Leibovitz purchased over the course of several years, with each of the buildings serving a different purpose; the West 11th Street townhouse was used as a guesthouse, apparently. (The others were for Leibovitz’s home and studio.) She began amassing the property in 2002, buying and renovating the homes over the course of a few years; she then sold the property in 2014 to Lauren Bush Lauren (niece of George W.) and her husband, David Lauren (son of Ralph). It’s been on the rental market several times since then.

Some of the home’s charming details include wood-beamed ceilings and exposed brick.
The kitchen has been renovated, and there are three wood-burning fireplaces.

The property itself is described as a “generous one-bedroom,” per the listing, and has three wood-burning fireplaces, high ceilings, a washer/dryer, a renovated kitchen, and lots of vintage charm (think exposed brick, beamed ceilings, and that lovely facade). Steve Gold and Viktoria Wiberg of Corcoran have the listing.
