Big reveal: $650K for a compact Chelsea one-bedroom

This week, we asked you to guess the price of a smallish Chelsea studio, and while there were several guesses in the right range, IsItABedroom? hit the nail on the head with a guess of $650,000.

The apartment, which is listed by Compass, is located in a co-op building at 250 West 21st Street between Eighth and Ninth avenues. It large windows that let in plenty of light, a renovated kitchen with a new fridge and a dishwasher, a nice decorative fireplace, a “spa-like” bathroom (also recently renovated), and a good amount of closet space. The building itself is a walk-up, but it has a laundry room and concierge service.

Commenters were generally positive about this place—the location is good, and the monthlies are low—although some noted the odd layout of the kitchen, which has two sinks and a stove in the center island.
