Big reveal: $695K for a charming Midtown East co-op

Yesterday, we asked you to guess the asking price of a one-bedroom apartment located in close to Sutton Place, just a couple of blocks away from the Queensboro Bridge. And lo and behold, we had one correct guess: omarrr got it right, hitting the asking price—$695,000—exactly.

The apartment is located within a co-op building at 345 East 57th Street, between First and Second Avenues. The 785-square-foot space is big and bright, with plenty of charming decorative details, including a fireplace and built-in bookshelves. Commenters were generally complimentary of the place, which was described as “well-maintained” and “a lovely apartment with tasteful design and good details.” The kitchen’s size (and seemingly small appliances) were cited as drawbacks, but overall, it got a thumbs-up.
