What/Where: studio co-op in the West Village

Square Footage: approximately 450

Maintenance/Common Charges: $1,049

Let’s address the obvious first: This is a studio apartment with a sleeping space built into a windowless alcove, which isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.

But the recently renovated apartment, located in the West Village, has some interesting features: A bed was built right into the sleeping area, so that’s one less piece of furniture you’d need to buy. There’s a large closet just off the alcove, and the rest of the apartment is a decent size for a studio—the kitchen is a tight squeeze, but at least it comes with a dishwasher.

The apartment is located in a co-op building that’s close to transit—as in a block away from a subway hub—and plenty of other neighborhood perks, including a few small parks.

Knowing all that, how much do you think it’s asking? Put your best guess in the comments.
