An Upper East Side two-story penthouse previously owned by late Kinky Boots producer Terry Allen Kramer, has just listed for $45 million, the Wall Street Journal first reported.
The penthouse is in the home of the former Westbury Hotel, located on 69th Street and Madison Avenue, just a block from Central Park. The 6,241-square-foot apartment comes with prewar details and panoramic views of the city’s skyline and Central Park. It has four bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, a private elevator, a marble staircase, French doors, multiple terraces, a wood-paneled library, and an English greenhouse.
Kramer, who passed away earlier this month at 85, produced several acclaimed Broadway shows, including Tony Award-winning The Goat and The Humans.

Her New York Times obituary says that even though “she kept her awards in her Manhattan home, she was better known for her Florida residence”—the roughly 37,000-square-foot Palm Beach oceanfront compound known as La Follia, which recently listed for $135 million, reportedly a record-setting price for the area.
Monthly maintenance charges for the condo will be $11,701, and taxes $8,481. The penthouse is located at 15 East 69th Street. Michael Lorber and Noble Black of Douglas Elliman have the listing.
