A charming four-story carriage townhouse with multiple outdoor spaces, described in the brokerbabble as “the best of the best,” has just listed in Chelsea for $15.8 million.

The townhouse has eight bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a garage, multiple terraces, and a private garden.

Built around 1900, the house has a stone facade with cornice and dentils, and boasts original wide-plank floors in its interiors. Other details include French-style doors, mosaic floors in the gallery, and marble mantels.

The living room, in the parlor floor, has a gas fireplace and 16-foot-high ceilings that allow for plenty of light. The property’s cellar has a sauna, gym room, and “artist’s corner.” The house even has its own separate unit on the fourth floor, according to the listing, with an eat-in kitchen, a bathroom, two bedrooms, and a terrace with city views.

The townhouse is located at 313 West 20th Street, between Eighth and Ninth Avenues, four blocks away from Chelsea Market and a six-minute walk to the High Line. Olga Neulist and Gina M. Kuhlenkamp of Sotheby’s have the listing. Taxes for the property will be $2,314/month.
