What/Where: 1BR, 1BA co-op in the East Village
Square Footage: N/A
Maintenance/Common Charges: $1,004
This East Village apartment isn’t huge—something to take into account when formulating a guess about its price tag—but it was recently gut renovated, with a minimalist design that helps it not feel quite so small.
You enter the place via a long foyer, with the bathroom (also redone, with a hotel-like shower stall and new tile) off to the side. The open kitchen has spiffy new cabinets and marble countertops, along with a large island that doubles as seating. The living room has several large windows, as does the bedroom, and there are two closets.
It’s located on the eastern side of the East Village—technically, you could call it Alphabet City—and it’s within a block of Tompkins Square Park. The building has some nice amenities, including a roof deck and a backyard.
Knowing all that, how much do you think the place is asking?
