This week’s Pricespotter apartment, a gut renovated East Village one-bedroom, elicited many close guesses as to its asking price, but the first person to get it right was Donnie Moder. The apartment is asking $675,000.
The unit, located within a co-op building at 99 Avenue B, is pretty small, but the recent renovation has made it bright and totally livable. The kitchen and bathroom both have new appliances, and the space in both is well-utilized, with an island in the former doing double-duty as a breakfast bar. It’s a corner unit with plenty of windows, and though the floorplan doesn’t indicate that there’s a bedroom door, that room is nice and bright too.
Location-wise, it’s on Avenue B between East 6th and 7th Streets, a prime area (if a bit far from the subway).
