What/Where: 1BR, 1BA condo in Williamsburg

Square Footage: 861

Maintenance/Common Charges: $450

Monthly taxes: $417

The layout for this Williamsburg condo is best described as quirky: The space is nicely sized at 861 square feet, but the bedroom is quite small—and windowless, so not quite fair to categorize as a proper bedroom—and there’s a Murphy bed that extends into what’s billed as the dining room. It’s not a layout that will be for everyone.

But on the bright side, the Murphy bed is really nice, with built-ins surrounding it and a clean, chic design. The apartment has high ceilings (which have wooden beams), and new kitchen appliances; the bathroom is also new and quite serene, with white tile and wooden accents.

It’s located in a cast-iron building in South Williamsburg, in the shadow of the Williamsburg Bridge; it’s close to the J and M trains at Marcy Avenue, as well as the South Williamsburg stop on the NYC ferry.

Knowing all that, how much do you think the place is asking? Put your best guess in the comments.
