What/Where: 1BR, 1BA condo in Chelsea

Square Footage: N/A

Taxes/Common Charges: $1,854

This Chelsea one-bedroom condo got a gut renovation in 2017 that transformed it into a chic oasis. There was “no expense spared,” according to the listing, and that includes white lacquer and wood cabinets, custom millwork, a “tailor-made” sink with African marble, and other high-end finishes.

The apartment itself has a spacious living room with an open kitchen, with all new appliances and an island that doubles as a seating area. The bathroom looks like something out of an issue of Dwell, the bedroom has several closets, and there’s a washer/dryer.

Location-wise, the apartment is on the western edge of Chelsea, and while it’s a bit of a hike from the nearest subway (the C/E at 23rd Street), it is close to the High Line. Knowing all of that, how much do you think this apartment is asking?
