From the outside, this contemporary Crown Heights townhouse, asking $1.35 million, doesn’t seem like it’s all that big.

But looks can be deceiving: The house, constructed in 2015, stretches back 59 feet, with an enormous living room and backyard that give the two-story home a much bigger feel. (It spans 2,450 square feet, according to the listing.) There’s also a parking spot in front of the house, as well as a deck attached to the master bedroom on the second floor.

Inside, there are three bedrooms (one of which is on the first floor, and might function better as an office or other space), three bathrooms, a kitchen with sleek new appliances, and plenty of quirky details. There are two wood-burning fireplaces, both of which resemble vintage cook stoves, as well as built-in shelving in the living room. Big windows let in plenty of light (and a double-height foyer lends a bit of grandeur to the entryway), and both the backyard and deck are plenty spacious.

Location-wise, the home is on Dean Street between Albany and Troy avenues, close to the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, several parks, and lots of nightlife in Bed-Stuy and Crown Heights. It’s listed with Compass’s Tali Berzak and Panos Ieromnimon for $1.35 million, with taxes coming in at $786/month.
