Hillrose28, which stands 200 feet high, will have 43 condo residences ranging from one- to three-bedroom apartments. Developed by Forkosh Development with interiors by Lemay + Escobar, over half the residences will include outdoor spaces.

Colombian-born designer Andres Escobar, partner and design principal at Lemay + Escobar, was in charge of the building’s interiors. Escobar was inspired by apartment houses of the pre-war era, “a contemporary interpretation of a classic New York building,” a statement says. Escobar’s work can be found in several new NYC developments, including The Nevins in Boerum Hill, Lighthouse Point on Staten Island, The Vantage in Murray Hill, the Aliz Hotel in Times Square, and Charlie West in Hell’s Kitchen.

The tower is located at 181 East 28th Street, near Madison Square Park and the 4 and 6 trains at 28th Street. Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group will handle sales, which will launch in the fall.
