Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

A recent PropertyShark report found that the East Village’s median sales price increased by 33 percent since last year, and is currently sitting at $1.130 million. But there are still some apartments for sale under a million (even slightly), like this cute one-bedroom condo that’s just listed for $975,000.

The unit has one bathroom, a living room, a joint kitchen and dining area, and a dishwasher. It offers views to Tompkins Square Park, which sits right in front of the building, as well as the World Trade Center and the Empire State building.

The condo is located at 143 Avenue B, right in front of Tompkins Square Park, between East 9th and East 10th streets. It’s a ten-minute walk to the L train at First Avenue and 14th Street. The Museum of Reclaimed Urban Space is one block away, and there are several notable restaurants including The Wayland, Somtum Der, and Pardon My French.

Taxes are $572/month and common charges $609/month. Greg McHale of Compass has the listing.
