Did you guess the correct asking price?

There were no correct guesses for this week’s Pricespotter apartment, a small studio in the East Village with cute details. In fact, there was only one guess that wasn’t over the asking price for this unit—that would be easternwestern, who guessed $335,000.

So what’s the actual retail price? It’s going for $349,000, with monthly maintenance coming in at $666.60. (We don’t blame folks for guessing higher than that, though.)

The apartment only measures about 300 square feet, but the single room is laid out in such a way that it could conceivably fit a bed and a couch, and there are two large closets, which alleviates one of the biggest studio apartment problems—a lack of storage space. The kitchen is designed to maximize space, with plenty of cabinets and overhead storage. The bathroom has a tub and a small vanity, as well as its own window. It is, as acfs noted, a “sweet little apartment for one person.”

The apartment is located at 323 East 8th Street between Avenues B and C, so farther east than many people might prefer—but there’s plenty to do in the area, and Tompkins Square Park is close by. It’s listed with Jessica Rains of Compass.

Let’s look at the floorplan one more time:
