What/Where: 1BR, 1BA co-op in Carroll Gardens

Square Footage: N/A

Maintenance/Common Charges: $1,063

Let’s get the thing we know many commenters won’t like about this Carroll Gardens co-op out of the way first: It’s located on the ground floor of its building, which is a turn-off for some. But that means it also has access to a large backyard, which has a deck and plenty of space for seating.

The apartment is technically a one-bedroom duplex, with the lower level—which lacks windows, thus making it not a legal bedroom—given over to storage space and, under the current owners, a woodworking studio. The upper level is for the actual living space; a large bedroom is at the front of the place, and leads to a den, living room/dining room, and a separate kitchen. There are lots of nice details—peep that fireplace mantel in the living room—as well as a ton of storage space.

The building is a four-story townhouse located in the heart of Carroll Gardens; it’s close to an F train station, and there are plenty of bars, restaurants, and other amenities nearby.

Now, the big question: How much do you think it’s asking? Put your best guess in the comments.
